We have completely revised our rates for 2010, in order to simplify things for advertisers. We have therefore compiled an innovative rate model with uniform advertising formats and a standard method for all titles. The rates are based on the impact of the advertisements and the return on investment for advertisers. In so doing, we have created a competitive and future-oriented rate model for our extended portfolio.

Furthermore we have compiled three packages in order to make it easy, attractive and efficient to wage a national campaign.

Position requests and surcharges; new as of July 2010

As of 1 July 2010 the surcharges for placement requests have been modified. All surcharges, as published before, are invalid from this date. All commercial advertisements are automatically placed on editorial pages. It is also possible to make placement requests on several pages in the first section, or in a specific editioral theme or section. For these placement requests a surcharge is added to the basic rate. Online

News site home pages remain the source with the widest reach: almost 75% of the unique visitors to our news sites start at the home page. De Persgroep Advertising Online has therefore chosen for exclusive home page formats, called ‘Homepage Exclusives’, which are based on the Scandinavian model. These formats are 34% larger on average than the more common advertising formats.
